top 10 essentials of a well stocked kitchen

Here’s my top 10 list of what I think every well stocked kitchen should always have:

1- Good quality unbleached flour

2- Good quality olive oil and a lesser quality olive oil

3- Homemade frozen chicken stock (next time you make a chicken, save the bones and the juices, add 5-6 cups water, and simmer for a few hours)

4- Fresh herbs that have been frozen in ice cube trays

5- Various frozen meats

6- Eggs, preferably organic

7- Dried pasta, either handmade or good quality dried factory pasta

8- Cans of San Marzano tomatoes

9- Various vinegars (Balsamic, Red Wine, Rice Wine, White, Apple Cider)

10- Gallon size Ziploc bags for freezing leftovers (and a Sharpie for labeling)
